Please unpack the equipment carefully and check for any dama-
ges. It is important that any damages which may have arisen
during transport are ascertained when unpacking. If applicable a
fact report must be set immediately (post, rail or forwarder).
The delivery scope covers: an IKAMAG RO 5, 10 or 15 power and
operating instructions bzw.an IKAMAG RT 5, 10 or 15 power and
operating instructions.
Check whether the voltage specified on the type plate matches
the mains voltage available. The power socket used must be ear-
thed (protective earth conductor contact). If these conditions are
met, the device is ready to operate after plugging in the mains
plug. If these procedures are not followed, safe operation cannot
be guaranteed and/or the equipment may be damaged.
Observe the ambient conditions (temperature, humidity, etc.)
listed under Technical Data.
The device is switched ON/OFF by means of the appliance switch (A) loca-
ted on the right. The LED for "Power" (B) becomes green when the switch
is activated.
The speed of the motor is set on the control knob ”Mot”
(C) with the scale
from 1 to 10 (D), which roughly corresponds to a range from 0 to 1200
rpm. The maximum speed of 1200 rpm is obtained when the control knob
is turned all the way to the right in no-load operation.
If the viscosity of the medium increases during processing, then the speed
drops slightly. If the viscosity decreases, e.g. due to the addition of low-
viscosity media, then the speed
rises slightly. In eit-
her case
the
control
knob
can be
adjusted
to com
pensate
for this
speed change, provi-
ded the required torque does not exceed the maximum torque.
Note that fluctuations in the mains voltage within the permissible toleran-
ces will also result in slight variations in speed.
The device is switched ON/OFF by means of the appliance switch
(A) loca-
ted on the right. The LED for "Power" (B) becomes green when the switch
is activated.
The temperature of the heater plate can be adjusted on the „Temp“ turn
dial (E) with the corresponding scale from 1 to 10 (F).
If energy is being directed to the heater plate, the „Temp“ LED (G) lights
up yellow. The scale values 1 through
10 correspond to
temperatures
on the
surface
from
0°C
trough
120°C.
